Special features of our educatinal programs

BEING AN INTEGRATIVE CENTER FOR LEARNING, OUR COURSES ARE INTEGRATED WHERE THE ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND CONCEPTS ARE ALSO INTERLINKED FOR EASIER LEARNING AND COMPREHENSION.

Consequently our educational programs are concise, to the point and not long drawn out so students do not get lost in the shuffle. Most students understand this because of that "I am so lost feeling" they get out of the conventional lecture based classes.

For that reason we do not lecture but explain and demonstrate what needs to be learned and why, and then let the students practice till they are good at doing what they are learning.

Also in order to leave nothing important out, our lesson plans are designed in a chronological order. This enables us to take you back in time showing you what discoveries were made, how they were made and how they changed our lives, hopefully for the better, expanding our awareness and our knowledge base.

We have found that this form of learning brings out much that remains hidden from us when we are taught via the conventional subject and lecture method. That patchy feeling of knowing a few things here and there thus does not happen at the Center.

Our students thus feel knowledgeable capable of analyzing, judging and making decisions.

Special features of our educational format:

1. We have no age requirements. Knowledge is knowledge. It is the same for a ten year old or an older person.

2. We do not require any previous background. Life experiences and you previously learned can always be helpful in learning more but since much of what we know is often so spotty, it ends up standing in our way of learning.

Our educational programs are thus ideal for:

a. All students of all ages still looking to find themselves;

b. Home schoolers who hardly get any hands-on science;

c. For teachers needing to stay abreast and become versatile so to teach more cohesively;

d. For retired and other seniors for meaningful continued life long learning plus not only retaining but also sharpening their memory and mental alertness;

e. For home makers to get back into the work force after raising a family.

f. For becoming a better home maker by bringing health, hygiene, science and general knowledge into every day family living plus becoming less vulnerable to the ever present infomercials;

g. And for every one else who just have a hankering for knowing all there is to know and then some, and especially for those who dropped out of school in general and shunned science in particular finding it not only difficult but also belittling as they failed to understand it thinking they were not smart enough.

To start with we suggest you review our courses, workshops and other educational programs and then register for the selected course or the workshop following the registration and payment guidelines for that activity.

NOTE: ADVANCED REGISTRATION FOR ALL COURSES AND WORKSHOPS ETC IS REQUIRED.

During and subsequent to the courses and the workshops, the Center will provide you guidance for preparing for a job or embarking on a career path.

We will also guide you on how to graduate early from a college or a university via self paced learning and earning college credits via CLEP (College Level Examination of proficiency) and other proficiency examinations.
